How to Care
Begonias do not tolerate over-watering. They can develop root rot if their roots remain wet for too long. Use only containers that have drainage holes, and do not plant landscape begonias in low-lying areas that tend to collect water. "Bonfire" begonias are not heavy feeders but they benefit from occasional fertilizing. Feed landscape begonias with a flower booster fertilizer in late spring and again in midsummer. Use a household plant fertilizer for container begonias, following package directions for application.
