Compost Starter 1.0 + Sifter Bundle

The two things a Reencle owner reaches for over a full composting cycle, bundled together: the microbe refill that restarts the machine, and the sifter that turns what comes out into usable compost.

What’s in the bundle

• ReencleMicrobe™ Compost Starter 1.0 — 1 bag of naturally sourced Bacillus smithii microbes, cultured from soybeans and cheese, with no chemical additives
• Sifter frame with 4 mesh screens — 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm
• Sturdy shovel for harvesting and sifting

How the two work together

1. Restart. Harvest down to the MIN line, pour in the Compost Starter with 50–60 oz of water, then power on and let the microbes activate for about 18 to 24 hours before feeding.
2. Compost. Add scraps daily — including meat, fish and dairy. Real compost is ready in about 30 days.
3. Sift. Screen the harvest to the texture you need — fine mesh for seed starting and potting, coarse for mulching — and return anything oversize to the machine.

Do not add: bones of any size, large pits such as peach or avocado, hard shells, or excess liquid.

Compatibility

Compost Starter 1.0 works with every Reencle model — Essential, Prime, Gravity and Gravity Pro. The sifter works with compost from any of them.

Good to know

The microbes replicate themselves, so there is no replacement schedule — you only add a fresh pack when the colony can’t recover on its own. The one routine consumable is the activated carbon filter, replaced every 9–12 months.
